Air-Cooled Reflector is the ideal solution for minimizing heat build-up problems in a grow room. Many Cool Tubes can be installed in-line for greater cooling efficiency. 300 cfm of cooling power minimum is recommended per Kool Tube unit when housing a 1000 watt HID bulb. Three Kool Tubes in-line with three 1000 watt bulbs ( HPS or MH) would require 1 Vortex 8 in. @ cfm of cooling power. Use with 400 watt, 600 watt or 1000 watt bulb ( HPS or MH). Each Kool Tube comes with an internal reflector. Our Ultragrow models also have exterior reflector wings to enlarge the growing area. This is the “Big Boy” in air-cooling technology. Reflector includes heavy duty brackets for peace of mind installation and pre-installed mogul socket with 15 ft cord for extra ease! Tempered glass is capable of holding heat temperatures of 5000 BTUs.
